Najnowszym konkursem ogłoszonym wkrótce
na stronach designtope.net
jest lub raczej będzie konkurs "Glasses' Frames"
na projekt oprawek do okularów.
Jurorem głównym tego konkursu będzie
znany projektant Naoto FUKASAWA, a pula nagród osiągnie
niebagatelną liczbę 20,000 dolarów amerykańskich.
Głównym zadaniem uczestników konkursu
będzie znalezenie formy oprawek dla ludzi, którzy nie
potrafią bez nich żyć i pracować. Stąd też koncepcja główna
konkursu "po wszystkim najlepiej jest nie nosić okularów"
prowadzi do prostych zadań:
- znalezienia lekkości (noszenia prawie 'niczego')
- odnalezienia siły, która nie przerywa naszej koncentracji
- stworzenia tak małych oprawek, by zajmowały jak najmniej
naszej twarzy
